WRITERS’ WORKSHOPS 2013

You’re invited to Gannon University’s Writer’s Workshops this summer!  Join us on campus, develop your writing process, and produce working manuscripts of publishable writing with Dr. Sally LeVan and the Writing Project teachers.

There are two sessions, each limited to 25 students, grades 4 through 12.  Registration includes a Writers’ Workshop ballcap, book supplies, and snacks.

Session 1: July 15-19

JOURNALISM WORKSHOP

Get a sneak-peak into the world of journalism this summer, at Gannon University’s High School Journalism Workshop.  Open to grades 10 through 12, workshop topics include writing and style, interviewing techniques, objectivity versus editorializing, news judgment, and media ethics.

You’ll work alongside Frank Garland, director of the GU Journalism Communications program.  Applications are limited to 15 students.  Details here!

ACT-UP THIS SUMMER @ GANNON!

If you’re a high school student with a love of theatre, come to Gannon and experience the life of a theatre major on the GU campus!  You’ll live in our residence halls, dine in the Beyer Hall Cafeteria, attend workshops, as well as produce and perform in the Gannon Theatre Experience Showcase.
