The build is underway! This is what 90.5 WERG's current space looked like back in April 2014. Gannon University had purchased the building at the corner of 7th and Peach, which was to become the new Center for Communication and the Arts (CCA). 90.5 WERG's home would be slated for the southeast corner of the second floor: pictured above (lounge in front; studio back-right; office of Operations Manager back-left). That meant a busy summer was ahead of us: moving the station's equipment from the Walker Building across the street to the CCA Building. The previous month, we had been named Best College Radio Station in America by the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, and then we came home to broadcast the women's Elite Eight basketball tournament. Now, we'd be getting a wonderful new home on the Gannon University campus. Exciting times!
