Thank you for voting in the Erie Reader "Best in Erie" poll! At 90.5 WERG, we've got a passion for content creation, and it's rewarding to see it reflected with a passion for listening.

And we've got a lot of things not offered elsewhere on the dial. During the week, our students present a modern/alternative rock mix that features everything from Florence and the Machine to The Foo Fighters.

Super Soul Saturday has been a staple of our weekend programming for a half-century. Sundays feature everything from Gospel to Polka, Latin to Italian music. Sunday night talk programming runs through the full spectrum: from science and astronomy to radio theatre to Pennsylvania public affairs programming and more.

Our weekday morning show is local - not canned out-of-town fare. Bill Page welcomes guests to converse about interesting events around campus and in our community. Along with news and sports updates every 15 minutes, frequent weather checks, other features of interest, and the best rock on the radio, it's the perfect "full-service" way to start the day.

For sports talk, there's The Prime-Time Sports Guys on Thursday evenings starting at six. Our newest addition, Clap Cast, is all about the love of movies - Fridays at 6pm.

Our students regularly receive awards for thier creativity and leadership: nationally through organizations like the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS) and College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI); and state-wide through the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters (PAB). Bill Page was recently named "Broadcast Journalist of the Year" by the NWPA chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). The College Radio Foundation has bestowed its Spirit of College Radio award on 90.5 WERG on three occasions: 2014, 2019, and 2024. And in 2014, 90.5 WERG was named best college radio station in the USA.
