Linkin Park told MTV that their new album would be coming out toward the end of the year. Mike Shinoda posted on his blog a cryptic equation, that when solved, concluded that the album would come out December 2012.

Blink-182’s comeback album is set to be released sometime during 2010. There’s speculation that it might not be out in time due to Tom DeLonge’s album with Angels and Airwaves, but fellow band mate Mark Hoppus said that he would do all he could to have the album out this year.
Stone Sour has decided to work with Nick Raskulinecz on their new album. They hope to release it in August of this year. Corey Taylor, Stone Sour’s frontman, has said the music will be a lot darker but melodic and strong.
