Boom Over the Bay at Liberty Park: Music from the U.S. Air Force Band beginning at 7:30 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9:45.
Crowley Restaurant's 4th of July Celebration in Platea, Pa from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Jerry Uht Park Post-game Fireworks on July 2 & 3
Waldameer Park & Water World at dusk on July 3 & 4

 

Join 90.5 WERG all weekend as we celebrate Independence Day with a special edition of Super Soul Saturday from 12 a.m. on July 3 until 9 a.m. on July 5. Also tune-in on Sunday evening beginning at 9 p.m. for patriotic music from the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

Gannon Stimulus Initiative

Gannon University’s Board of Trustees recognizes that today’s difficult economic times require the University to provide more financial assistance to college students than perhaps ever before. That is why the Trustees have authorized up to $2.6 million more this year for financial aid as part of the Gannon Stimulus Initiative. Additional financial aid will be available to current and prospective students, particularly those whose economic circumstances have adversely affected their ability to pay tuition. Students who may be eligible for a portion of the Gannon Stimulus Initiative could include, but not be limited to, those whose parents have lost their jobs or are experiencing unusual circumstances, and self-paying students who have become unemployed. Gannon Stimulus Initiative funds will be distributed based on need, which will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Anyone with questions about whether they qualify should log on to: www.gannon.edu/gannonstimulus.
